ChatGPT Go Gets Cheaper in Uzbekistan

Price Drops to $4

Users from Uzbekistan have reported a decrease in the cost of the ChatGPT Go tariff — the subscription now costs $4 per month instead of the previous $5. The updated price appeared directly in the interface of accounts registered in Uzbekistan, although OpenAI has not yet published official statements about the tariff adjustment.

ChatGPT Go was launched in 2025 as a more affordable alternative to ChatGPT Plus and is primarily aimed at developing markets. The tariff provides an advanced model, increased limits, and improved performance compared to free access. However, it is not yet known whether the price reduction is part of a global strategy or a local experiment for the region.

Users from other countries also report a price range — from $4 to $5 depending on the currency and region. As of December 4, the new price is only valid for Uzbek accounts, making the market one of the first testing zones for OpenAI's updated pricing policy.
