Uzbekistan is ready for the industrial revolution: the country sets a record for car production

By 2030, it is planned to produce one million cars and grow key industries

The "Uzbekistan - 2030" strategy project sets an ambitious goal: to maximize the use of local raw materials and accelerate the development of industry based on modern technologies. Special attention is paid to the automotive industry - it is planned to increase the production of passenger cars to 1 million units per year, which will make the industry one of the drivers of the economy. The strategy is also aimed at creating high added value and competitive products within the country.

The document provides for large-scale measures to modernize production chains and introduce technological innovations. It is expected that technological production in industry will increase by 2.5 times by 2030 compared to 2023. The growth of the automotive industry is directly related to the processing of local raw materials, expanding cooperation between enterprises and strengthening the domestic industrial base.

In parallel, it is planned to strengthen the resource potential of highly profitable industries: copper production will increase by 2.5 times, gold - by 1.5 times, silver and uranium - by 3 times, while copper processing in electrical engineering will reach 300 thousand tons. These measures should create new capacities, increase the share of competitive products on the market and accelerate the transfer of technologies, ensuring sustainable industrial growth and a stable economic breakthrough for the country.
