Rubber and Plastic Production in Uzbekistan Increased

Tashkent remains the leader, with significant contributions from the Fergana and Samarkand regions

In Uzbekistan, over 11 months of 2025, large enterprises produced rubber and plastic products worth 18.5 trillion soums, which is 16.1% higher than in the same period of 2024, the National Statistics Committee reported. Tashkent remains the leader in production volume with 6.9 trillion soums. Significant volumes were also delivered by the Tashkent region with 4.2 trillion, Fergana with 1.9 trillion, Samarkand with 1.3 trillion, and Syrdarya with 1 trillion soums.

In the remaining regions, production was distributed as follows: the Republic of Karakalpakstan — 198.1 billion soums, Andijan region — 770.7 billion, Bukhara — 318.8 billion, Jizzakh — 463.1 billion, Kashkadarya — 172.8 billion, Navoi — 369.5 billion, Namangan — 752 billion, Surkhandarya — 103.4 billion, and Khorezm region — 154.6 billion soums.

The growth of the sector reflects the strengthening of industrial production and rising demand for rubber engineering and plastic products, contributing to economic diversification and the development of local manufacturing in various regions of the country.
