AMMC Exceeds Plan and Sets Ambitious Goals for 2026

The plant increased production to 51.6 trillion soums and is ready for new investment projects

In 2025, the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex (AMMC) achieved record indicators: the volume of industrial production amounted to 51.6 trillion soums, which is 34.5% higher than the level of the previous year and 119% exceeded the forecast. Copper production reached 148.5 thousand tons, gold and silver were also produced more than planned. A key event was the launch of copper processing plant-3 in pilot mode, where the first concentrate was obtained in March.

In 2025, the plant produced products worth $130 million, including gold for $58 million, copper for $65.9 million and silver for $4.85 million, while budget deductions amounted to 23.57 trillion soums. Exports exceeded the forecast by 4.2%, the cost of production decreased by 11.8%. AMMC strengthened localization and cooperation, implemented 26 automation projects and monitoring systems at deposits and processing plants, and also implemented large-scale social and environmental initiatives, including planting 1.9 million trees.increased

For 2026, the plant plans to increase production to 54.4 trillion soums, transfer factory-3 to continuous operation, launch a new sulfuric acid workshop, develop factory-4 and begin construction of a copper smelting complex. Priorities include energy conservation, cost reduction and improvement of the environmental situation.
