As of January 1, 2025, 18,164 enterprises with foreign capital participation are registered in Uzbekistan. Among them, 4,247 are joint ventures, and 13,917 are wholly foreign-owned companies, which emphasizes the significant share of foreign business in the country's economy.
Over the past five years, the number of such companies has almost doubled - by 1.9 times. This reflects not only the growth of investment, but also increased competition, the emergence of new jobs and the expansion of the range of services provided.
Experts note that the interest of foreign capital in the Uzbek market remains high, and the dynamics of development of enterprises with foreign investments will continue to affect the country's economy in the coming years.
