New Electric Buses Transform Transportation in Nukus

The first 12 electric buses are already in the city, with 200 more vehicles and a modern bus depot under construction

The first batch of electric buses has arrived in Nukus from China, marking a new phase in the modernization of the city's public transport. A total of 12 vehicles cost 24 billion soums, and this is just the beginning of a large-scale fleet renewal, which, on the instructions of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, involves the delivery of 200 buses to the city.

Sapsan Trans Nukus is not only delivering new electric buses, but also building a modern bus depot for 200 units, preparing for the gradual introduction of transport. These measures are aimed at improving the quality of service and streamlining traffic in the city.

It is expected that the new electric buses will increase the share of environmentally friendly transport, reduce air pollution and make travel more convenient and safer for passengers.
