Silk Avia Increases Fares on Domestic Flights

The price increase will affect most routes, especially popular tourist and business destinations

Regional airline Silk Avia has announced a revision of its fare schedule for domestic flights, which will take effect on February 1, 2026. The average price increase across 14 key destinations will be 7.37%, with the most popular routes increasing more significantly: a ticket from the capital to Bukhara will increase by 7.62% to 344,399 soums, and flights from Tashkent to Samarkand will increase by 7.59% to 313,089 soums.

Southern and remote destinations will also be affected by the indexation: a ticket to Termez will increase by 7.47%, to Urgench by 7.46%, and to the mountainous Sariosiyo by 7.54%. Most other routes, including Navoi, Karshi, Namangan, Fergana, Kokand, and Shakhrisabz, will increase by exactly 7.37%, while social and small destinations such as Zaamin and Muynak will increase by 6.99%.

The company emphasizes that the price adjustment is due to the macroeconomic situation and reflects the inflation rate for 2025. It is worth noting that Silk Avia and its parent company, Uzbekistan Airways, are under the control of regulators due to their market dominance, which requires justification of their tariff policy. Previously, the company reduced ticket prices on several routes, but the current increase is explained by economic necessity.
