Click and Paynet Strengthen Protection

No More Connecting Other People's Cards

Payment applications Click and Paynet have updated the rules for working with cards and electronic wallets. Now, only cards, accounts, and wallets belonging to the user or their close relatives can be linked to an account. P2P transfers are still allowed through the account, but third-party cards will no longer pass the linking process.

The verification procedure has become stricter: matching the phone number and PINFL is now mandatory, and in case of doubts, banks and payment systems conduct additional biometric identification. Simple confirmation with a photo or image is no longer sufficient — the verification has been strengthened.

New security measures have also been introduced: three incorrect entries of a one-time SMS code block operations for 15 minutes, and when logging in from another device or resetting the password, all linked cards are automatically deleted. These changes are designed to protect users and reduce the risk of fraud.
