Amid the cold snap, the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan confirmed stable supplies of electricity, natural and liquefied gas, as well as motor fuel to the population. Over the past day, the country's power plants generated 277.4 million kWh, of which 249.7 million kWh were supplied to consumers, while natural gas consumption amounted to 145.2 million cubic meters. Priority was given to households: gas supplies to filling stations were restricted, and 1.1 million cubic meters were allocated for special equipment and public transport.
Liquefied gas production reached 2.3 thousand tons, with 2.1 thousand tons directed to the population and social facilities, while reserves at regional stations increased by 100 tons to 7.7 thousand tons. Supplies of gasoline and diesel fuel have been ensured in sufficient volume, and more than 8 thousand tons of fuel, including liquefied gas, were sold on the exchange.
The energy system is operating around the clock in an enhanced mode, with 1,479 crews and 7,596 employees deployed for emergency work. Two malfunctions at facilities have already been promptly eliminated, making it possible to maintain uninterrupted energy supply throughout the country.
