In 2025, foreign companies providing electronic services in Uzbekistan transferred 181.3 billion soums in taxes to the country’s budget, which is 50% more than in 2024. A total of 78 such companies operate in the market, with the leaders in tax payments being Apple (49.5 billion soums), Meta* (49 billion soums), and Google (44.4 billion soums).
The total turnover of services provided electronically by foreign IT companies last year reached 1,482.3 billion soums, whereas in 2024 this figure stood at 1,003.4 billion soums. The significant growth in tax revenues reflects the expansion of the digital services market in the country.
All foreign companies providing electronic services are required to submit tax reports and pay taxes on a quarterly basis, no later than the 20th day of the month following the reporting quarter. This practice contributes to transparency and increased budget revenues.
