The collaboration between Uzbekistan and Hollywood in animation could reach a fundamentally new level. The head of the Center for the Development of Children's Content, Jahongir Ahmedov, held negotiations with Rob Minkoff — the director of the iconic animated film "The Lion King", who is considered one of the key figures in world animation.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the creation of a joint full-length animated film. According to available information, the project is already at a stage close to practical implementation, and it is not just a concept, but a full-fledged joint work with the participation of an international team.
Rob Minkoff confirmed his readiness to finalize all necessary agreements and begin implementing the project. The name and idea of the future animated film have not yet been disclosed, but an official announcement is expected in the near future.
The project could become one of the most notable animation events for Uzbekistan and an important step towards the country's integration into the global animation industry.
