The Chinese automaker is radically changing the rules of the game in the Uzbekistan market by launching official sales through its own representative office, Geely Auto WZ. The brand's grand presentation took place on February 5 in Tashkent, where prices and configurations for three models were immediately revealed: Geely Monjaro, as well as the hybrid and electric Geely EX5.
The flagship crossover Geely Monjaro is offered with a 2.0-liter engine producing 238 hp, an 8-speed automatic transmission, and all-wheel drive. Prices range from 503.3–515.5 million soums, which is equivalent to approximately 3.15–3.2 million rubles, and the warranty is 5 years. The hybrid Geely EX5 EM-i received a 218 hp installation with a range of up to 1033 km and costs 392.8 million soums — about 2.45 million rubles.
The most affordable new product is the Geely EX5 EV electric vehicle with a range of up to 495 km: it is priced at 355.6–398.9 million soums, or 2.2–2.5 million rubles. The company has already confirmed plans to expand the lineup — the Emgrand and Preface sedans, as well as the Cityray, Atlas, and Coolray crossovers, have been certified.
