Most P2P transfers in Uzbekistan are "card to card" up to 10 million soums

46.1% are transfers up to 1 million soums

In 2025, transfers between cards in Uzbekistan were mainly used for everyday settlements and small payments.

The country's Central Bank reports that 71.5% of all transactions are for amounts up to 10 million soums. At the same time, almost half of the transactions — 46.1% — are transfers up to 1 million soums, 16.8% — from 1 to 5 million soums, and 8.6% — from 5 to 10 million soums.

Large transfers are much less common. Transactions for 10–50 million soums amounted to 18.3%, 50–100 million soums — 5.4%, 100–200 million soums — 3.2%, 200–500 million soums — 1.4%, and transfers over 500 million soums were recorded in only 0.2% of cases.

Analysts note that this structure of transactions reflects the active use of digital payments by the population for everyday needs and small business transactions, while large transfers remain a niche practice for the corporate sector and investment operations.
