Hundreds of Uzbek citizens are helping to build the Akkuyu NPP in Turkey

The departure and registration of 200 specialists were organized in a short time

200 people from Uzbekistan have been sent to work at the Akkuyu nuclear power plant (NPP) site in Turkey. This was reported by the Migration Agency.

The Namangan Regional Department of the agency signed a cooperation agreement with ATAMER Holding within the framework of the "one region - one major employer" program. The departure and registration of 200 specialists - electricians, welders and molders - were organized in a short time.

It is reported that employees are provided with high wages and social guarantees. Representatives of the Namangan branch of the agency visited the construction site to assess working conditions, after which, together with the employer, they held an iftar for employees.

The agency continues to accept applications from welders interested in finding employment in Turkey.
