From March 1, 2026, the "Uzbcosmos" agency will begin regular monitoring of construction sites in the regions of Uzbekistan. The decision is being implemented within the framework of the presidential decree of December 1, 2025 and is aimed at increasing the transparency of the construction industry and preventing illegal construction.
For this purpose, the "Uzbcosmos" databases will be integrated with information from the Inspectorate for Control in the field of construction and housing and communal services. All facilities registered with territorial inspectorates will automatically enter the agency's system through the EIS "Transparent Construction". If unregistered sites are identified, the information will be transferred to the Ministry of Construction and the Cadastre Agency for action.
The monitoring work will be financed from the national budget. Experts note that data integration and constant monitoring will help improve urban planning, reduce the risk of violations and speed up the process of legalizing new facilities.
