On March 2, Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan Ilzat Kasymov met with Chang Xiaolong, General Director of the Chinese company Fang Yuan, to discuss joint industrial projects. The focus was on organizing the production of high-tech glass products, as well as the prospects for expanding cooperation in other industrial sectors.
The parties reaffirmed their interest in strengthening business ties and promised consistent promotion of joint initiatives. The meeting was an important step for the development of bilateral investment cooperation and demonstrates Uzbekistan's desire to attract foreign technologies and capital into the industrial sector.
Fang Yuan is one of the largest glass manufacturers in China, operating in more than 20 countries. In addition to glass production, the company is actively developing projects in the field of building materials, the chemical industry and agriculture, which opens up wide opportunities for joint investments with Uzbekistan.
