According to nPerf, in 2025, the average data upload speed in wired networks in Uzbekistan reached 66.6 Mbps, surpassing the download speed of 57.2 Mbps. Experts call this phenomenon "flow inversion," which reflects the significant progress of the country's digital infrastructure.
Over four years, the indicators have increased many times over: the download speed has almost tripled, and the upload speed has almost quintupled. Network latency decreased from 100.74 ms to 62.32 ms, and the performance index increased from 43.5 thousand to 70.2 thousand, improving the quality of user experience. The main contribution to the development was made by the modernization of telecommunications infrastructure, market liberalization, and projects with international manufacturers, including Huawei and ZTE.
The excess of upload speed over download speed is associated with the growth of data exchange and content creation: remote work, online services, and interactive applications require high performance. Experts note that further expansion of the network, the introduction of optical technologies and the DOCSIS 3.1 standard will strengthen Uzbekistan's position in the digital sphere and open up new opportunities for the economy, education and public services.
