In 2025, the turnover of crypto assets in Uzbekistan exceeded 2 billion dollars, said Vyacheslav Pak, First Deputy Director of NAPP. For comparison, in 2024, this figure only recently exceeded 1 billion dollars, which reflects the rapid growth of the market.
The regulator continues to actively monitor the industry: last year, 3–4 foreign crypto platforms were fined, and all companies paid the fines, maintaining the confidentiality of their names. In addition, NAPP initiated the blocking of more than 3 thousand resources, including illegal crypto platforms, marketplaces, bookmakers and online casinos, transferring information to law enforcement agencies.
Experts note that the growth in the turnover of crypto assets is associated with an increase in public interest in digital finance and the expansion of infrastructure for legal transactions. At the same time, the regulator continues to strengthen measures to protect users and prevent illegal activities.
