A major investment project with the participation of the Chinese company Hainan Xintanbo Investment is starting in the Andijan region. The cooperation agreement was signed with the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan and regional authorities. The total investment exceeds $1.4 billion.
The document envisages the implementation of four projects at once: the construction of a modern residential complex in New Andijan, the creation of an international logistics center "Dry Port" in Khanabad, the development of a tourist zone with an artificial lake, and the development of engineering and road infrastructure.
The projects are expected to provide the region with more than 2,000 new jobs and become a driver of economic growth. The authorities also expect that cooperation with Hainan Xintanbo Investment will strengthen investment ties between Uzbekistan and China and accelerate the development of the region's infrastructure.
