Uzbekistan is intensifying cooperation with foreign investors in the mining industry. On March 26, Deputy Minister of Industry and Geology U. Yusupov held a meeting with representatives of Integra Capital, where the state of the industry and prospects for its development were discussed.
The parties discussed in detail the current regulatory framework, key areas of extraction, and the importance of the sector for the country's economy. Representatives of Integra Capital shared their experience in implementing international projects in mining and energy.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed specific initiatives for joint work, identified possible areas of cooperation, and agreed on further steps to develop the partnership, including studying promising projects in Uzbekistan.
