Uzbekistan is intensifying cooperation with South Korea in key sectors of the economy. During the visit of the delegation headed by Ilzat Kasimov, negotiations were held with leading companies and organizations, including National Health Insurance Service, SK Bioscience, TKG Aikang, Saehan Elevator, and Cellpot. The main emphasis is on attracting investments and introducing advanced technologies.
In the medical field, the parties are discussing the development of an insurance system, the localization of vaccine production, and the creation of a biotechnology cluster. These projects should strengthen the country's independence in healthcare and accelerate the introduction of modern solutions. South Korean experience in biotechnology is seen as one of the key factors for future growth.
At the same time, initiatives in industry and the agricultural sector are being developed. We are talking about modernizing water supply systems, launching the production of elevators and escalators, as well as introducing new agricultural technologies and creating seedling growing centers. It is expected that joint projects will become a driver of technological development and increase the efficiency of several sectors of the economy at once.
