JSC "Thermal Power Plants" continues to strengthen its position as a key energy producer in Uzbekistan, demonstrating growth at the end of 2025. The company generated 30.3 billion kWh of electricity, exceeding the plan by 2.8 billion kWh, with a performance rate of 110%. Heat energy production reached 9.5 million Gcal, fully meeting the set targets.
Investment activity also increased: $583.84 million was utilized, which is 110.1% of the plan. The main focus is on modernizing infrastructure and implementing energy-efficient technologies. With the participation of Shavkat Mirziyoyev, new capacities have been introduced, including combined cycle gas turbine units at the Talimarjan TPP with a total capacity of 1065 MW and a gas piston station with 100 MW in Tashkent.
In parallel, the construction of a new unit at the Navoi TPP with a capacity of 650 MW continues. A cogeneration system with a 2.3 MW unit and Bosch boilers has already been launched in the capital, which will reduce heat losses by up to 90%, additionally produce 18.4 million kWh of electricity, and save up to 220 million cubic meters of gas annually.
