President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited the National AI Hackathon, which is taking place in the universal sports complex of Bukhara. The event has become one of the key platforms in the region, where developments in the field of artificial intelligence and digital transformation are demonstrated, and the prospects for introducing technologies into the economy and public administration are discussed.
The heads of state were presented with the results of large-scale digitalization, covering the "Digital Government" system and solutions for transport, customs, tax, healthcare, social protection, energy, geology, construction and agriculture. It is noted that the introduction of AI and digital services is already increasing the efficiency of state structures and the quality of services provided to citizens, reducing costs and speeding up processes.
A separate block of the program was dedicated to the startup ecosystem of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. The presidents were shown the KPI-COM, OSON, DATOX projects, as well as the work of accelerators and fintech players like UZUM, TBC Bank, Aloqa Bank, HUMO and UZCARD. The focus was on the development of the venture market, support for youth entrepreneurship and digital banking. At the end of the visit, the leaders took a joint photo with the hackathon participants and representatives of the startup community.
