Uzbekistan Enters the Afghan Market: Seeking Demand for Electrical Equipment in Herat

B2B negotiations and market analysis should open up new export opportunities for Uzbek companies

Uzbekistan is stepping up its efforts to gain a foothold in the Afghan market: events to promote electrical products were held in Herat on April 13–14. The delegation conducted market research, a series of B2B meetings and negotiations with local businesses to assess real needs and supply prospects.

The main focus was on analyzing demand and the current market structure. Representatives of the Uzeltehsanoat Association studied major trading platforms and specialized markets, where they directly communicated with importers and dealers. During the meetings, prices, competition and product deficit segments that could become growth points for Uzbek exports were assessed.

Following the visit, the parties discussed options for building sustainable trade chains and expanding supplies. It is about promoting competitive products at affordable prices and strengthening business ties between companies in the two countries, which could give an additional impetus to economic cooperation.
