Tashkent and Abu Dhabi are strengthening economic convergence: the parties held a busy round of negotiations covering key areas of cooperation - from investment and industry to digital technology, logistics, tourism and water management. The meetings took place in two UAE cities at once - Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and the agenda included a transition to a more practical phase of interaction with an emphasis on the implementation of joint projects.
Special attention was paid to the technological direction. Digital transformation, the introduction of artificial intelligence-based solutions, the development of IT infrastructure and the promotion of modern management services were discussed. The negotiations were attended by representatives of the UAE economic bloc and departments responsible for AI and the digital economy, as well as structures overseeing international investment initiatives and energy.
According to the parties, cooperation already relies on 36 agreements, and trade turnover at the end of 2025 reached $1.25 billion, adding 52% in a year. The joint investment portfolio includes about 100 projects worth over $20 billion, with investments from the UAE to Uzbekistan amounting to $1.5 billion in 2025 alone, and the number of enterprises with Emirati capital exceeding 400.
