According to the National Statistics Committee, as of April 1, 2026, there are 19,072 enterprises with foreign capital operating in Uzbekistan. This reflects the sustained interest of foreign investors in the local economy and the expansion of international business in the region.
The main concentration of such companies is in trade – 6,814 enterprises, making this sector the absolute leader. Industry follows with 3,831 companies, highlighting the role of manufacturing as the second key area for foreign investment.
Significant activity is also observed in construction (1,544 companies), information and communication (1,488), and logistics and storage (601 enterprises). The service, agriculture, and healthcare sectors account for a smaller share but are also consistently present in the structure. Overall, the data shows that foreign capital in the country is primarily concentrated in trade and industry, forming the basis of foreign investment activity.
