Uzbekistan and Pakistani HRL Aim for Joint Resource Extraction

Parties Discuss "Roadmap" and Technology Exchange in Geology

Negotiations were held in Uzbekistan with the participation of Pakistan's Habib Rafiq Engineering Pvt. Ltd. (HRL), dedicated to developing cooperation in geology and mineral extraction. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Minister Rustam Yusupov, with the participation of representatives from relevant agencies and Uzbek Overseas Geology Company.

The Uzbek side presented current reforms and the results of modernization in the geological sector, including infrastructure development and increased efficiency in field development. HRL expressed interest in the accumulated experience and confirmed its readiness to participate in joint projects using its own technologies and practices.

Following the negotiations, the preparation of a joint "roadmap" is being discussed, which will define specific steps to deepen cooperation. This involves a long-term partnership aimed at expanding the resource base and attracting investments into the mining sector.
