Uzbekistan has recorded a significant increase in population income: by the end of Q1 2026, the average nominal salary reached 6,825.9 thousand soums, an increase of 17.4% compared to last year.
Tashkent remains the leader in income levels with 11,684.3 thousand soums, followed by Navoi Region with 8,453.2 thousand soums. The highest growth rates were observed in Namangan and Jizzakh regions, where salaries increased by approximately 17–19%.
Among industries, the financial sector continues to have the highest incomes — an average of 18,595.8 thousand soums, while in insurance and reinsurance, the figure exceeds 24 million soums.
In the transport and warehouse logistics sector, growth was 22.5%, and in IT and telecommunications, the average salary reached 16.5 million soums, continuing a steady increase over recent years.
