According to the results of the first quarter of 2026, tax revenues to the state budget of Uzbekistan reached 63.6 trillion sums – 24% more than in the same period last year. Corporate income tax led the growth: 20.4 trillion sums (+43%). VAT revenues significantly increased – 12.5 trillion sums (+27%). Personal income tax brought in 10.7 trillion sums (+15%).
Other payments also showed good dynamics: tax for subsoil use increased by 17% (6 trillion sums), land tax – by 34% (2.8 trillion sums). The most impressive jump was recorded for the tax for water resource use – plus 82%. Non-tax revenues added another 3.3 trillion sums.
Experts attribute the sustained growth in tax revenues to an improved business climate, digitalization of tax administration, and the overall strengthening of the economy. These results provide confidence in meeting the budget plans for 2026 and open up additional opportunities for financing infrastructure and social projects.
