The Global Startup Awards international prize final, where the best innovative projects of the year were announced, took place in Malta as part of the EU-Startups Summit. Representatives from Uzbekistan were among the winners, receiving two awards in different categories, which became a significant result for the regional technological ecosystem.
The startup Catextra was recognized as the best Greentech project globally, reflecting the growing interest in ecological and sustainable technologies. In addition, Rakhimakhon Nugmanova won in the People's Choice category, where the winner was determined by community voting.
The organizers note that this success is a continuation of the regional stage of the competition, which took place in September 2025 in Uzbekistan as part of ICT WEEK with the support of IT Park Uzbekistan. At that time, projects were selected and prepared for the international final. Experts believe that such results increase investor interest in the country's startup market and confirm the growing competitiveness of the Uzbek technological environment at the global level.
