On May 14, Tashkent will host the IV "China – Central Asia" forum, dedicated to human rights and sustainable development. The event is organized by the China Foundation for Human Rights Development and the National Human Rights Centre of Uzbekistan. The discussions will focus on combining progress in human rights with high-quality economic development.
Forum participants plan to discuss a wide range of issues: from poverty reduction and improving living standards to environmental sustainability and the development of a green economy. Special emphasis will be placed on the implementation of digital and intelligent technologies that can be used in the field of human rights protection and social projects.
The event is expected to be attended by about 100 representatives of government agencies, the scientific community, businesses, and experts from China and Central Asian countries. The forum has been held annually since 2023 and has already taken place in Beijing, Astana, and Xi'an, gradually strengthening regional dialogue between countries on humanitarian and technological issues.
