Uzbekistan and Singapore discussed expanding bilateral cooperation during a phone call between their foreign ministers. Uzbekistan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov and his Singaporean counterpart Vivian Balakrishnan exchanged views on the current state of relations and prospects for their development.
The parties noted the importance of strengthening economic ties and expanding interaction at regional and global levels. The negotiations took place in a constructive and warm atmosphere, and also touched upon the preparation of future joint events between the two countries.
