As part of the OGU 2026 conference in Tashkent, negotiations were held between the management of Uzbekneftegaz and the Japanese Yokogawa Electric Corporation. The parties discussed the development of technological cooperation and the digitalization of Uzbekistan's oil and gas industry.

The main focus was on the implementation of modern industrial automation systems. This included distributed control systems (DCS), SCADA platforms for supervisory control and data acquisition, as well as programmable logic controllers (PLC), which improve the accuracy and speed of production process management.

The application of industrial sensors, measuring instruments, and gas and liquid analyzers for more accurate monitoring of technological processes was also discussed. Such solutions are considered the basis for increasing efficiency and safety in the oil and gas, chemical, and energy sectors.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their interest in expanding partnership and implementing comprehensive digital solutions that should accelerate the modernization of Uzbekistan's industry and increase the level of enterprise automation.
