President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov held a meeting on the sidelines of the informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States in Turkestan. The main focus of the parties was on developing economic cooperation and deepening regional integration.
The leaders noted the steady growth of mutual trade and the expansion of cooperation in industry, agriculture, and water management. They also discussed strengthening strategic partnership and implementing previously reached agreements concerning joint infrastructure initiatives.
