Tashkent and Issyk-Kul to be connected by direct flight this summer

Asman Airlines prepares to launch route and expand flight network between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan

Kyrgyz airline Asman Airlines plans to launch regular air service between Tashkent and the resort area of Issyk-Kul. The launch of the route was discussed at a meeting between representatives of the carrier and the management of Uzbekistan Airports.

The first stage will be the Tashkent – Tamchy flight, tentatively scheduled for June 24, 2026. Flights will be operated on Dash 8-400 turboprop aircraft, designed for regional and resort destinations with moderate passenger traffic.

The airline is further considering expanding its route network: flights to Osh are planned to be launched by autumn, and to Karakol by winter. The opening of direct service between Tashkent and Bishkek is also being discussed, as well as the development of flights to Andijan, Fergana, and Namangan, which should strengthen the region's transport connectivity.
