Sherzod Shermatov, Minister of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan, held negotiations with a delegation from the Chinese export credit corporation SINOSURE, led by Shen Hetai. The main focus was on digital transformation, the development of telecommunication infrastructure, and the expansion of IT services exports.
The parties discussed mechanisms for financial and insurance support for technological projects, as well as tools for protecting investments in the high-tech sector. Reforms in the digital sphere, the development of IT Park Uzbekistan, and the participation of international companies, including Huawei, in shaping the digital economy ecosystem were specifically noted.
SINOSURE presented its capabilities in export insurance and support for technological investments. Following the meeting, promising areas of cooperation in telecommunications, IT, and digital infrastructure were identified, aimed at accelerating the country's digital transformation.
