Qatari Investment Giant Interested in Uzbekistan: Energy and Mining Projects Discussed

Thirty-Five Group may invest in the country's industry, logistics, and high-tech sectors

Uzbekistan's Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade, Laziz Kudratov, held talks with Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Attiyah, founder and chairman of the board of Thirty-Five Group. Previously, the Qatari businessman served as Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Minister of Defense of Qatar.

During the meeting, the parties discussed expanding investment cooperation and attracting long-term capital into Uzbekistan's economy. The Qatari holding was presented with a number of promising projects in energy, logistics, chemical industry, education, geology, and the mining sector. Initiatives in infrastructure and modern technologies were also discussed.

Thirty-Five Group noted Uzbekistan's high investment potential and expressed readiness to develop practical cooperation. Following the talks, the parties agreed to continue working on joint initiatives and proceed with further development of specific projects.
