From May 19 to 21, a delegation from the China Development Bank was on a working visit to Uzbekistan. One of the key points of the program was a visit to Bus Depot No. 2 of the "Toshshahartranskhizmat" company in Tashkent. The guests were informed about the current changes in the public transport system, the development of the route network, and plans for further modernization of the urban infrastructure.
Representatives of the National Bank of Uzbekistan, as well as Chinese bus manufacturers King Long and Yutong, participated in the meeting. The delegation was shown modern buses previously delivered to the capital from China. Special attention was paid to the technical equipment of the vehicles, the level of comfort for passengers, and the specifics of operating transport in a large city.
Following the negotiations, the parties emphasized that cooperation in the field of public transport remains one of the important areas of interaction between Uzbekistan and China. The Tashkent authorities continue their course towards updating the bus fleet and introducing modern transport solutions that should improve the quality of transportation and make the urban system more efficient.
