A delegation from Andijan Region, led by Hokim Shuhratbek Abduvakhmonov, held talks with the leadership of China's Hainan Province and representatives of business circles. The meeting focused on expanding interregional cooperation and developing economic ties.

The parties discussed cooperation in trade and economic spheres, as well as prospects for joint projects in agriculture, innovation, technology, transport, and tourism. The issue of organizing direct flights between the regions was also raised, which could boost business and tourist flows.

Opportunities for working within the "Silk Road" Free Economic Zone and strengthening investment cooperation were also considered. Following the talks, agreements were signed, solidifying the further development of partnership between Andijan Region and Hainan.
