Negotiations were held in Uzbekistan between the Minister of Digital Technologies, Sherzod Shermatov, and a delegation from MegaSec. The main topics of the meeting were the development of cybersecurity and the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies.
The parties discussed the protection of information infrastructure, personal data, and critical digital systems. Special attention was paid to improving the qualifications of local specialists and developing educational programs in the field of cybersecurity.
Initiatives for creating an AI cloud infrastructure and the possible formation of a specialized cybersecurity center were also considered. Following the meeting, it was emphasized that against the backdrop of accelerated digitalization, the role of data protection and security systems is becoming a key element of Uzbekistan's technological development.
