Negotiations were held in Uzbekistan between the Minister of Digital Technologies, Sherzod Shermatov, and ZTE Senior Vice President, Zhang Jianpeng. The main topic of the meeting was the development of the country's digital infrastructure.
The parties discussed expanding the data center network, increasing the stability and security of digital systems, and implementing new stages of construction and modernization of computing capacities. Special attention was paid to providing digital services to remote regions.
Strategic cooperation in the telecommunications sector, including network development and personnel training, was also considered. ZTE representatives noted their experience in the country and their contribution to infrastructure modernization, and the parties discussed the prospect of transforming Uzbekistan into a regional digital hub.
