The third Uzbek-Chinese interregional forum, dedicated to "Joint Modernization through High-Quality Development," was held in Xi'an, China. The event gathered about 2,000 participants from government agencies, businesses, academic circles, and regional administrations of Uzbekistan and China.

The forum was organized with the participation of Shaanxi Province, the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, and the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan. Discussions centered on expanding interregional ties, attracting investments, and developing joint projects in technology, science, and industry.

According to data presented at the event, over the past five years, trade between the countries has tripled, reaching approximately $18 billion, while Chinese investments in Uzbekistan have increased fivefold. The forum also included thematic sessions on the "green" economy, agriculture, and tourism, resulting in agreements on new joint projects between the regions of Uzbekistan and China.
