A delegation from Tashkent Region, led by Deputy Hokim Jamshid Bobojonov, is on a working visit to China, where they are holding meetings with representatives of large companies and business circles. The parties focused on expanding cooperation in industry, agriculture, construction, electrical engineering, pharmaceuticals, and tourism.
Following the negotiations, preliminary agreements were reached on 36 investment projects. These are future joint initiatives with Chinese partners that could bring new investments, additional jobs, and an increase in export potential to the region.
During the Uzbekistan-China Interregional Cooperation Forum, representatives of Tashkent Region also presented the region's investment opportunities and tourism potential. International partners were informed about the current economic development of the region, business conditions, and promising projects aimed at attracting foreign investors.
