A delegation from Parkent District participated in the Third Uzbekistan – China Interregional Cooperation Forum, held in the PRC. During the visit, district khokim Elmurod Pulatov held a series of negotiations with representatives of Chinese businesses and potential investors.
Following the meetings, the parties reached agreements on the implementation of investment projects totaling $15 million. The funds are expected to be directed towards launching modern production facilities and developing the district's industrial infrastructure.
Authorities expect that the new projects will help create additional jobs, increase export opportunities, and boost business activity in the region. Furthermore, cooperation with Chinese partners is seen as an important step to strengthen the investment attractiveness of Parkent District and further grow the local economy.
