A delegation from Andijan region, led by Hokim Shukhratbek Abdurakhmanov, visited the People's Republic of China and participated in a major business forum in Hainan province. The event was attended by over 200 representatives of Chinese companies and business circles interested in expanding cooperation with the regions of Uzbekistan.

Within the framework of the forum, detailed information was presented on the investment opportunities of Andijan region. This includes projects in industry, agriculture, textile industry, logistics, furniture production, and small hydropower plants. Special emphasis was placed on the development of export-oriented areas.

Separate negotiations were held with Chinese entrepreneurs on establishing joint ventures and launching new investment projects. Following the visit, interregional cooperation is expected to strengthen, and new economic initiatives aimed at increasing employment and expanding the region's foreign economic ties are anticipated.
