Uzbekistan Adopts South Korean AI Experience

Tashkent Studies How Digitalization Changes the Legal System and Access to Legal Information

A delegation from Uzbekistan, as part of the Republic of Korea's KSP program, visited the Republic of Korea from May 17 to May 23, 2025–2026. The visit aimed to study digital solutions in the legal field and modern approaches to working with regulatory legal acts.

Participants of the program were introduced to South Korea's experience in legislative digitalization, the implementation of technologies in the development of legal norms, and systems for informing citizens. Special attention was paid to the application of artificial intelligence and IT solutions in legal practice.

During the visit, meetings were held with representatives of the National Assembly, the Constitutional Court, and the Ministry of Legislation of the Republic of Korea, as well as relevant IT companies. Following the program, a memorandum was signed between the National Legal Information Center “Adolat” under the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan and the Korean Legal Information Center, which formalizes cooperation in the field of digital legal technologies.
