Uzbekistan plans a large-scale expansion of digital tools to support small and medium-sized businesses. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed a package of proposals aimed at simplifying entrepreneurs' access to financing and reducing bureaucratic procedures.

A key initiative will be the creation of a unified digital financial platform through which businesses can apply for loans, compare bank terms, and receive offers automatically. The platform will be integrated with the "E-government" system, which will speed up data processing and reduce the number of required documents.

From December 1, 2026, an alternative scoring system based on artificial intelligence is planned to be introduced. It will take into account not only credit history but also business activity, tax data, and other digital indicators. This should expand access to financing for entrepreneurs without a traditional credit history.

Additionally, an increase in limits for unsecured microloans, compensation for interest expenses, and the launch of grant programs for the most successful entrepreneurs implementing digital and "green" technologies are envisioned.
