IT Park Uzbekistan organized an open discussion with representatives of Schwarz Digits and STACKIT, as well as residents of the technopark. The main topic of the meeting was the prospects for Uzbek IT companies to enter the European corporate market and the requirements that must be taken into account for successful work in EU countries.
Schwarz Group, which owns the retail chains Lidl and Kaufland, operates in more than 30 countries and employs over 500,000 people. Through its Schwarz Digits and STACKIT divisions, the company is developing its own digital infrastructure ecosystem and considers Uzbekistan as one of its promising technology partners. During the discussion, the parties touched upon data protection, compliance with European security standards, and the specifics of interacting with large corporate clients.
Participants paid special attention to the STACKIT cloud platform, which is used in regulated European markets. Company representatives spoke about customer requirements for data storage and infrastructure, as well as the importance of sovereign digital solutions. For Uzbek developers and technology companies, the meeting was an opportunity to directly discuss cooperation options with the Schwarz Group ecosystem and the prospects for scaling business in the European market. IT Park noted that such initiatives are part of a strategy to expand international cooperation and increase the export of IT services from Uzbekistan.
