A separate block of discussions covered the regulation of derivative financial instruments, as well as the procedure for the circulation of bonds of international financial institutions in Uzbekistan's domestic market. Participants noted the need to harmonize norms with international practice to increase market transparency and attractiveness for investors.
The parties also touched upon the development of the accounting, trading, and settlement infrastructure of the capital market, including the modernization of existing mechanisms. Following the negotiations, NAPP and EBRD reaffirmed their intention to continue joint work aimed at forming a more stable, open, and competitive financial ecosystem in the country.
