Since June 1, a new digital mechanism for accounting for apartment buildings has started operating in Uzbekistan. The commissioning of buildings, cadastral registration, and state registration of real estate are now carried out through a single UZKAD platform. The decision became part of the launch of the information system "Register of Apartment Buildings".
Previously, information about apartments, non-residential premises, and common property was stored separately. Now all information is combined into a single digital database. A common cadastral passport is created for each house, which includes digital drawings and the display of the object on an electronic map. This allows all real estate data to be collected in one place and simplifies working with it.
After construction is completed, developers can submit documents through the my.gov.uz portal or public service centers. Then the information is automatically sent to UZKAD for preliminary verification. If the system does not find any comments, a specialist will inventory the object and prepare a cadastral passport. The Chamber of State Cadastres believes that the new platform will help reduce paper workflow, increase the transparency of procedures, and speed up real estate registration by minimizing the influence of the human factor.
